Raymond Burns

Raymond brings over twenty five years of investing expertise to Balanced Financial. He began his career as an Investment Advisor in and a Licenced Life Insurance Advisor in 1996. He was a Financial Planner with the Royal Bank prior to Balanced Financial.

Raymond has helped his clients achieve their financial objectives through a common sense approach to Goals Based Planning. Working with a network of professional advisors, Raymond steers clients through investment tax and investment planning issues.

A resident of Vancouver since 1978, Raymond enjoys reading, golf and motorcycle riding. An avid musician Raymond plays guitar and enjoys song writing in his spare time.

Taylor Burns, CIM

Taylor started his career in the investment industry in 2011 as an advisors assistant. He became an Investment Advisor in 2015. Taylor earned his Chartered Investment Manager designation on November 25th, 2020.

Taylor uses a client-focused approach to ensure that his advice meets each client’s personal financial goals, risk tolerance and time frame. He enjoys working with clients to develop a well-rounded financial portfolio that incorporates asset allocation, financial management and insurance. With this comprehensive approach he can help clients reach their goals whether it be retirement, saving for a child’s education, or simply saving for a rainy day.

Taylor conducts regular meetings with clients to review performance and make adjustments if necessary due to a change in goals, lifestyle or as the economic landscape changes.

In his spare time Taylor enjoys fishing, playing basketball as well as competing in golf tournaments across British Columbia.
